Vision Vs Ambition Hook

Welcome to The Stuck No Voices podcast Heard on Apple and YouTube. I'm Theresa Croft the cat is Peaches, and we are delighted you are here. Your voice. It is not just a tool, it is a calling. And today we're talking exactly about that. Now, most women I know and those that I work with, they know they are called, but they cannot name is where at times that calling is actually going. This is why the V in the EVOICE Method™is all about. So we talked about the E in episode 3 0 8. So now let's give you the v. Vision and value, and I put them together intentionally because you cannot have one without the other. Let's go. Vision is what God intended before he even had language for it. Francis Chan, do you know him? He's a documented example of this. When Crazy Love his book became a bestseller. He gave away the royalties rather than build personal wealth from it. He later walked away from a mega church he built because he felt it drifted from simplicity. His financial integrity has been consistent and public. No, he did not make that decision under pressure. He made it in advance, rooted in a value already settled. That is the power of covenant belief underneath your vision. Your brain never has to negotiate what is already resolved. Now, let me talk to you about value for a moment. Okay? Because this is where most people skip too fast. They know their vision, but they have never stopped to ask what is underneath it. Your values are the heartbeat of your vision. They're not a list you put on a website. They are. The reason you get up and do this, even when no one is watching your voice, is the unique expression of your values, your identity, and your experiences. And when those three things align, your message doesn't just reach people, it can impact thousands. It moves them.. I want to share mine with you as an example. I, I did not build the Stuck No More Executive Cohort on strategy alone I built it on what I could not walk away from. Value number one, faith first. Everything I do is grounded in God's word and led by prayer. It's the overflow. Jesus is not part of my brand. He is the center of it. Family matters. I believe in building strong families at home, strong friendships that become an extension of your family in business and in community. My work was never just about a platform. It was always about legacy. Another value, integrity. Always. I do what is right, even when it's hard. That value has cost me some things. Yeah, it has also protected everything that matters. I like the saying, God, protects what he blesses. How about this purpose-driven impact? Yeah. Every voice has a divine assignment. Now, this is not a tagline, this is the reason this work exists. Empowerment through excellence. I use every tool available, including AI, to equip women to show up with confidence. And clarity and then community over competition. We rise by lifting others. A kingdom-minded sisterhood that celebrates each other is not soft. It is powerful. And finally, bold obedience. I walk in courage, not comfort. My yes is our weapon. Alright, I wanna sit with that with you. Not my values. Yours. What are you unable to compromise on? What would you build this platform on even if no one applauded it? Because those answers are not just personal convictions. They are the architects, you of everything. Your audience will trust you with. Your voice carries thousands of people towards something. You need to know what that something is rooted in. Before you ever press record, I wanna tell you something personal. I have a covenant belief. Trusting God with my vision and through the years of my life, that single covenant has carried me through some difficult and precarious places. For example, in my early years, golfing from an all American collegiate golfer to the professional tour, that Covenant helped me to know when it was really time to hang up the clubs from marital trauma. To just last year's cancer. That covenant has been my roadmap. The rock that never shakes. I can shake on the rock, but the rock never shakes. No doubt. Life can throw some punches. I know that firsthand. But here's what I also know. God prunes not for punishment, but for growth. That single truth will carry you through every moment of uncertainty that comes with this vision. I think I need to repeat it. God prunes not for punishment, but for growth. It is usually uncomfortable right up until the moment you see what it's making room for. You may be standing that place right now where the numbers aren't certain those schedule is shifting. The algorithm is downright confusing. The future is not visible yet. This is not a sign you missed it. That is a Hebrews 11 verse one in real time. Now, faith is a substance of things hoped for. The evidence of things not seen, not faith that feels good, the kind that chooses to trust when nothing around you has confirmed it yet, the vinedresser sees the whole vine, you and Jesus, every branch, every season, every fruit that is coming. He has never once dropped a branch. He was still growing and he's still growing you. You are a branch. Okay? And just because there's no grapes on the branch right now, that doesn't make you any less than a branch you don't like. I'm a branch. I'm gonna try to grow my fruit. No, you stay abiding and the fruit comes. Okay. That was a sidebar. Here's what I love about all this. Really love about all this is. Neuroscience is now confirming what scripture always said. Your brain has what researchers call the Default Mode Network Neuroscience. Marcus Rail at Washington University confirmed this network is most active during stillness. Prayer, journaling and open reflection. The Default Mode Network. Stay with me on this. Scientists also discovered almost by accident. They expected the brain to go quiet during downtime. Instead, it got a busy in a completely different way. The Default Mode Network is where your brain processes identity. It reflects on past experiences. It imagines future possibilities. It makes meaning out of your life narrative. In other words, it is where your story becomes something you can actually build from, and here is what that means for you. Practically your best clarity does not come from grinding harder. It comes from being still, it's Jesus and coffee for me every morning. When you linger in God's presence to ask him how he's doing today, sit with a devotional or simply rest your brain is integrating your story, solidifying your identity, and position your mind to receive insight. So don't pick up the phone right away when you wake up, let your mind rest. And let it rest in the Lord Jesus and coffee. Psalm 46, verse 10 says, be still and know that I am God. That is not just theology. It is neurologically sound instruction. Romans 12 verse two, confirmed it another way. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Transformation begins in the mind that morning time with him, non-negotiable. For me, it should be non-optional for you, not for your spirit, and not just for your brain. It's the foundation your vision is built on. There is a version of your vision that is about you. Your reach, your revenue, your recognition. I understand that version, but there is another version, the one that is about her, the woman you once were still waiting for someone to do what only you were built to do. Assignment does not ask what you want, it asks who needs what you carry. So let me bring this home with two things. I want you to leave here knowing. Take away one. Your vision is not about where you wanna go. It's about who God already said you were before you got there. Vision is not a destination. It's an assignment. Walking forward, write it down, protect it. Decide in events what you will not compromise to get there. Takeaway two. Your values are not a background detail. They are the load bearing walls of everything you are building. When your vision gets blurry and pressure shows up at the door, your values are what hold the structure standing. They are what I came. Two in a hospital room when the future was uncertain and the healing was questionable. Vision tells you where you are going. Values tell you how you will get there without losing yourself on the way together. They're not just a strategy. They are a testimony waiting to be told, and the woman on the other side of your voice, she needs to hear it. Vision without value is just a plan. Vision without belief is just ambition, but vision anchored in your values, soaked in faith, and carried in your calling. That is a movement and you are made to lead it. So let's do it.
